On the 8th of June, Dr. Artur Wiktor, Assistant Professor of Warsaw University of Life Sciences SGGW – partner of the FOX project, was invited to the Global Food Summit to present the FOX Food in a Box project.
The Global Food Summit this year focused on tackling the three biggest global challenges: the Ukraine war, Covid and climate crisis – that have a strong impact on the food supply chain and food security. They evaluate how can the bioeconomy be used to solve them. For example, using innovations that can produce high-quality protein in large quantities from just Co2, water and bacteria. Innovative technologies like this are one of the solutions and an example of the progress we must follow to feed nine billion people in 2050 in a sustainable way but also to manage the actual crisis.
Dr. Artur was invited as an Ambassador for Bioeconomy to introduce the FOX project as an example of Sustainable and Circular Food Production.
